Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) – Solmaz Nadiri

Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), a renewable alternative to conventional jet fuel, has emerged as a viable solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the environmental impact of aviation. The study of reaction kinetics in SAF combustion enables a better understanding of the fuel’s performance, emissions formation, and combustion efficiency. It helps in developing combustion models and designing combustion systems that maximize the utilization of SAF while minimizing pollutant formation.
